The short version

• You can use Hanzibloc without signing up. There are no accounts.
• Your progress, settings and review schedule are stored only on your phone.
• Your handwriting is not uploaded.
• We do not show ads and we do not sell your data.

What stays on your device

Learning progress, settings and your review schedule are saved in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. They are not sent to us. Pronunciation uses your phone’s built-in speech engine and does not need a network connection.

Analytics and crash reports

The app currently includes no analytics or crash-reporting service. TODO: update if Firebase or another service is added before launch.

Subscriptions

TODO (pending app confirmation): subscriptions will be handled by Apple and processed through RevenueCat, which receives your purchase records and an anonymous app user ID. We never see your payment details.

This website

This website does not use cookies or analytics.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your phone, you can delete it at any time in the app under Me → Reset progress, or by deleting the app.
